Third Coast Improv Festival Announces Lineup for Ninth Annual Festival in Nashville, TN

 

 

Nashville, TN - October 9, 2025 - Third Coast Comedy Club is excited to announce the lineup for the ninth annual Third Coast Improv Festival, taking place November 6-9, 2025. This year's festival continues to be one of Nashville's largest improv gatherings, attracting improv troupes and individuals from across the country to perform a variety of unique comedic styles in the heart of Music City.

Over 50 unique troupes will perform over the course of three nights, with more than half traveling from outside Nashville to participate. The festival will feature two headlining acts from Chicago performing on Friday and Saturday nights:

Friday Night Headliner: 2 Square featuring John Lutz (30 Rock, Saturday Night Live, Late Night with Seth Meyers) and Peter Grosz (Veep, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Wait Wait… Don't Tell Me). This powerhouse duo brings decades of comedy and improv experience from Chicago's legendary scene.

Saturday Night Headliner: Chad & Ithamar Perform Silent Clown featuring Chad Damiani and Ithamar Enriquez. This unique performance combines physical comedy, modern clown, and the power of silence with a live musical score.
"We're thrilled to be back for our ninth year," says Luke Watson, co-founder of Third Coast Comedy Club. "TCIF is always an annual highlight for our Third Coast Comedy Club team. We're looking forward to another weekend of unforgettable moments as we host improvisers from all over the country for a weekend of community, laughter, and entertainment."

For nine years, the Third Coast Improv Festival has brought hundreds of performers, instructors, and comedy-lovers together each year to celebrate and laugh throughout the weekend. The festival will once again be held at Third Coast Comedy Club, Nashville's premier improv and comedy theater, located in Marathon Village.

"We couldn't be more excited to have the Third Coast Improv Festival back for another year," adds Scott Elam, Artistic Director at Third Coast Comedy Club. "With 50+ troupes, over 200 performers, and three nights of incredible shows, this year promises to be one of the biggest yet."

The festival will include:

• Performances: Over 50 unique troupes from around the country will perform over the course of four days;

• Workshops: (Lineup to be announced soon!) Performers and attendees can participate in workshops led by experienced and diverse instructors, designed to enhance the skills of any improviser; and

• Community Events: All attendees and performers can participate in panel discussions and other interactive activities that celebrate and explore the impact of improv.
