Formed in 2023, SBP's original goal was to serve as a point of representation in the St. Louis improv scene. Since its formation, SBP has: headlined a run of sold-out shows, been interviewed by multiple publications, performed in multiple comedy festivals, won Cagematch, and succeeded in its goal of providing representation. This success is evident in the increased number of Black improvisers joining the St. Louis program.
